A Marketplace for High-Impact Innovations in Health and Climate |
|
| CGHD partnered with UNAIDS to build the Health Innovation Exchange (HIEx) as a global engine for turning bold health ideas into real-world delivery. HIEx exists to surface high-impact innovations, match them to the needs and priorities of countries, and connect innovators with the decision-makers, implementers, and investors who can take solutions to scale. By creating a trusted marketplace for evidence, partnerships, and financing, HIEx helps transform innovation from a series of pilots into sustained impact—so progress in HIV and wider health systems is not just imagined, but implemented. | |

Through a close partnership with African Union leadership and international government counterparts, CGHD helped shape the vision and operational foundations of the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC): a continent-wide institution built to strengthen health security. CGHD supported the development of strategies and coordination mechanisms to anticipate, detect, and respond to infectious disease threats, including during the Ebola crisis—helping position Africa’s public health architecture to meet both today’s emergencies and tomorrow’s risks with greater speed, strength, and unity. |

| CGHD has partnered with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia for more than two years to help strengthen and scale implementation of the National Cancer Control Plan. Working at the ministerial level, we support alignment across policy, delivery roadmaps, and an investment pipeline that can sustain progress over time. Building on this work, CGHD, through WHEN launched a Technical Assistance Facility in partnership with the Elimination Partnership in the Indo-Pacific for Cervical Cancer (EPICC), with support from the Minderoo Foundation and the Government of Australia, to accelerate cervical cancer elimination through stronger delivery systems and investment-ready programs. | |
