The goal of this session is to form an informal group of global and local expert stakeholders to provide advice on a modular approach to scaling resources for female health workers. Participants will identify barriers and gaps, and highlight opportunities to develop innovative financing models to grow the number and skill sets of midwives and female community health workers. An expansion in health workforce is key to increasing access to quality care.
